My name is Lindsey,I'm 28 years old, and I'm scheduled to have my surgery in December with Dr. Poplawski, in Ypsi. I am very very very excited for the journey ahead of me, and for finally plopping down on the loser's bench with the rest of you. I can't wait!!

Hi Lindsey and welcome.  Congrats on your dates and I know you are excited.  We all were and still are.  We have plenty of room for you so come on over and sit here next to me on the bench.  My surgery was a little over 5 weeks ago and I'm really doing well.  Read this board and ask tons of questions.  Everyone is wonderful here.  Hugs, Sue

Welcome  and congrats on getting your surgery date.  It will be here before you know it.  (cause there is only 50 days til Christmas lol)  I wish you luck on this journey and look forward to seeing your progress.

Requested more info on April 9th and April 20th, Waiting on Family DR!
May 11, 2009 - OHIP is Approved!! Yahoo
June 9, 2009 - Internist app't...heart and lungs are good to go for surgery!
June 15,2009 - PAT's -- Passed!!
June 25,2009 - RNY surgery (left hospital weighing 250lbs)

Thanks girls...my surgery is actually scheduled for the 30th I can't wait!! I recognize a few of you, I actually work for Barix. I'm in the Admitting Department, so I could be one of two girls who registers you day of PAT's, and day of surgery! Thank you for all your kind words...even though I work in the hospital, I'm still nervous and have a lot to learn. So I appreciate everything you can give me!
